We are a chapter of Lions Clubs International — District 318E, Zone 1, Region 3. Our work is focused on the eight global causes of Lions: vision, hunger, environment, diabetes, pediatric cancer, youth, disaster relief, and humanitarian service.
Chartered in 2014 under the sponsorship of Lions Club Of Nileswaram Town, the Lions Club of Kasaragod Vidyanagar was founded by a group of local citizens committed to the Lions motto — We Serve.
Over a decade on, we are recognised at the district level across causes spanning healthcare, education, environment and community welfare. Our members serve in their personal capacity, on their own time, with no expectation of return.
We are part of Lions Clubs International, founded by Melvin Jones in 1917 — today the world's largest service organisation, with 1.4 million members across 200+ countries and 49,000+ clubs.
LCI focuses on these eight humanitarian causes worldwide. We bring them to life locally — tap a cause to see our work in it.

We bagged the Best Family Club Award of the Lions Multiple District 2015-16 during the Presidentship of Lion Adv Vinod Kumar.
Lions Club of Kasaragod Vidyanagar became the Best Club of the Multiple (entire Kerala) during 2016-17.
Awards Best President of the Dist. 2015-16, Excellance award as Dist Chairperson, Best Zone Chairperson, Excellance award as Region Chairperson, Best Joint Cabinet Secretary, Excellance award as Adl Cabinet Secretary, Best Dist Co Ordinator, Excelance award as Dist Secretary, and GMT Coordinator. International Presidents excellance award, 4 times.
